    Gnome||kde?

    Very soon am scheduled to switch to debian 4.0 o.s. Can anyone advise me which most suitable GUI to use accounting for programing with Kdevelop(C&C++)?(including how much disk space it requires||resources it utilizes)

    Since you want to make KDE applications with KDevelop, the natural choice is KDE (many KDE libraries will be installed by Kdevelop anyway, even if you install only GNOME).
    A pc with 512mb of ram will run kde well, while it will be running even better with 1gb.

    If KDevelop can work well in the GNOME environment, then I would surely use another environment away from KDE for once in my linux life! Thanks for the tip L4linux).
    A new challenge though, it seems KDevelop's mode of programming is not all that motivating to me(yaani, all like 4 header files for a single calculator program). Any tips?
