cd rom not working correctly...
I am having a very simaler situation with my cd rom. I have dreamlinux and it says cannot find mount point for /dev/sdc0 yet when I try to type a create directory it tells me that the file already exists.
I deleted my cdrom noread file out of shear ignoance {I am a novice on a great day} and after alot of fumbling with it I wound up with a new one.
The file system is showing the cd I'm trying to load, though it does not read it.
I would like to be able to simply plop a cd or dvd in download it run it and put the cd in box to collect lots of dust.
I recognise that in some respects it is slightly different, but I am completely lost. Any clues ???
Thank you.
