    help, cannot install flashplayer for iceweasel in debian etch

    the browser fires up the missing plugin prompt,
    so i go through the motions and install via the prompts
    and when iceweasel restarts,
    nothing happens,
    i just get that same prompt to install the missing plugin

    You could install the browser plugin using apt-get e.g.
    Code:
    apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

    i don't seem to have it in my packages list,
    can you indicate the
    url for that to include in my sources.list?

    You probably need to enable the contrib repo in your /etc/apt-sources.list.

    The non free repo can be added inside synaptic if you prefer

    i just went with the ubuntu installation... least work needed
