    Red face I need help installing Debian please.

    I know how to install it but I do not know which .ISO image to use.

    I see 3 of them but do I need to use all of them or just the first one?

    The smaller the downloaded .iso is, the more will be downloaded during the actual install time.

    If you plan to install on more than one machine, it is better to get the biggest download at the first time.

    Since you have 3 .isos i guess that you downloaded the DVDs, right?
    You only need the first one. The other 2 have more than 20.000(!) programs in them, that you should better install afterward using Synaptic (you 'll get the newest versions using Synaptic)
    Just burn the first iso you have, but take note that you must use the option "burn image" and not throw the .iso inside a DVD(it won't be bootable that way).

    If you don't mind doing a network install, check this page:

    Debian -- Network install from a minimal CD

    The businesscard image has always worked perfectly for me.

    and this is always my favorite way to install as well, that way I install what I want instead of it (and other stuff) being already installed.
