    monitor problem

    hi all,
    when i shut my monitor lid it logs me out this is really irritating could someone please point in the right direction as to the file i need to edit and maybe even the line and values that i would need to edit.

    Sorry i dont know exactly...

    i believe it can be a h/w issue.

    chk power related things, and the fitness of the h/w parts ...

    Have you set the lid action to "Do Nothing" in System -- Preferences -- Power Management ?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
