    help with compilation


    now i'm trying to compile ktorrent because i couldn't get it from apt sources...
    so, I don't know what tools i need to have installed in my debian lenny for compilate applications.
    I'm using kde 3.5.10, and a 2.6.26-1kernel

    Install build-essential meta-package and it will install most of compilers and libraries necessary for package compilation.
    Code:
    su -
    apt-get install build-essential
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Just install build-essential

    # sudo apt-get install build-essential

    Ktorrent is definitely in the debian repositories.
