ppc-cd apparently not working
i just burned a cd with debian 5.0 for powerpc.
i did this from macosx using disk utility -> burn image. this exact procedure worked for the ubuntu x86 cd that i burned for a i386 machine yesterday.
however, when i boot the mac (mini) with the debian-ppc cd inserted, i boots into macosx as if the disk was not bootable.
should i try again with a different disk, or is there some gotcha with booting from bootable disks on macosx?

Hi
I've only seen a mac once, but you should configure the boot priority in.
In an i686 pc you can do this in the bios , probably the mac also have some bios like stuff.
If no change after this , the disk can be wrong. Maybe it get corrupted under the download process.
Try the disk in a i686 machine if it try to boot then the disk is good.

Probably late and silly reply, but just in case...
...you are pressing "C" while booting, right? (pressing "C" tells the system it has to boot from the CD)
