Does anyone have any knowledge of getting either of these ink level monitoring applications to work on their computer?

I have an Epsom R360 and have tried installing Mtink and QInk 0.3.5.

With Mtink, I get

No access to printer device file. Please make sure mtink has enough right for accessing the device files. On Debian Based System as Ubuntu you must be a member of 1p. Refer also to documentation.

With Qink_0 3.5, I get

Could not open Qink _0.3.5.1_i386.1.deb
Archive not supported.
