I have a Canoscan N67OU scanner (on Debian Lenny) wich i can't make to work.
This is what i tried:
1. installed the latest sane, xsane and other packages.
2. Edit the plustek.conf file and add the "[usb] 0x04A9 0x220D, device auto" part
3. add my profile to the scanner group.

But none of them helped me.
"sane-find-scanner" don't find anything. If i start the xsane application it also can't find any device.
the "lsusb" command lists my device well: Bus 001 Device 005: ID 04a9:220d Canon, Inc. CanoScan N670U/N676U/LiDE 20
dmesg also shows this after i plug in my scanner:
[25814.252019] usb 1-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5
[25814.475001] usb 1-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[25814.476750] usb 1-3: New USB device found, idVendor=04a9, idProduct=220d
[25814.476750] usb 1-3: New USB device strings: Mfr=64, Product=77, SerialNumber=0
[25814.476750] usb 1-3: Product: CanoScan
[25814.476750] usb 1-3: Manufacturer: Canon

So it's look like for me that the device is recognized by the OS, but not by the sane. Any idea?
