Asus Eee PC : network cards undetected
Hello,
I tried to install Lenny on my Asus Eee PC model 900.
However no network cards at all were detected (neither Ethernet or wireless) during installation.
Did I missed something ? Should I use a specific Lenny version ?
I thought that Lenny was simply working fine on Asus Eee.
Thanks for clarifications or resolution.
Note : other distributions works fine with my Eee : currently I'm using Ubuntu Netbook Remix, but also tried successfully Mandriva or PCLinuxOS.
Bye,
Bruno

Some distros just have better support than others, sometimes it's just the machine. Try browsing this sticky and post the relevant info back here and hopefully someone can help you.

I know that its not much help, but we had the same issue with Etch, i know that you have said you installed lenny.. from memory we needed to use a netinst so that we had some of the latest packages. if you didnt detect a nic durring install im assuming that you're using an offline installer, perhaps try a freshly downloaded netinst.
