Hi there

I've installed and setup the following programs
Fetchmail 6.3.9-rc2+GSS+NTLM+SDPS+SSL+NLS+KRB5.
Dovecot 1.0.15
Procmail v3.22

Basically fetchmail is collecting the mail fine and when i check /var/mail/user its showing all the dates properly

Now somewhere after Fetchmail in the Dovecot or Procmail process.. it's losing all the dates of the emails. So when I go into Outlook to have a look at the mail that has been processed, it's all the same date.

I havent entirely ruled out Fetchmail as well .. but by looking at the /var/mail/user file .. im 99% sure it's not Fetchmail.

Anyways, im trying to find out if anyone else has used a setup similar before and knows how to fix this issue? I've tried numerous Google searches and I cant find an answer at all

In the end what im trying to accomplish is an easy way to view and store my emails. I've got multiple email accounts on both Google, Hotmail, ISP and work emails .. so I was going to use Fetchmail to grab the emails, Procmail to sepearte into different folders .. and then using Outlook and Dovecot to IMAP to my server and read the emails that way...

I've used Outlook directly before .. loading up all the POP accounts and then saving a copy onto the computer. This works fine for a bit .. but the only prob is one the PST file starts to hit over 2gig .. it doesnt like working properly anymore.

Anyways... hope this is enough info .. if anyone needs anymore info to assist, let me know.
