    hi guys,

i used to use opensuse 11.1 in my 80 gb hdd and a win server 2003 (for testing)
    in my 40gb hdd.
now i installed mandriva 2009 spring and it is not working at all even windows is not booting
and i want to install debian lenny in my 80 gb hdd (by removing mandriva) but i get some error message after I choose 'graphic install' :
    '
    Loading /install.386/vmlinuz...................
    Loading /install.386/gtk/initrd.gz.............................

    isolinux: Disk Error 10,AX = 4200,drive EF

Boot failed: press a key to retry.
    '

i tried the installation on my laptop , the installer booted without any problem (it too has a opensuse 11.1 kde 4.2)

pls help, i dont mind formatting my win partition.

Hi, have you tried a Text install? Press F1 (Help) and then hit escape (Esc) and you should end up at a Linux prompt, type alt1, see if a direct install via the web helps
