    Exclamation How to change superblock size on EXT4

    Hi there,

    I have a big problem.
    After windows reinstall i had bad partition table but now its fixed.
    I want to mount my linux partition which is EXT4 (Ubuntu 9.04) to recover grub but i get error ::: Wrong size of superblock or something in that sense.

    So i ran TESTDISK utility and yes, my superblock size is bad.

    What should i do?? How to change superblock size on EXT4 without loosing files on that partition.

    Welcome to the forums!

    Precise error message would help greatly.
    Anyway, boot up with some Linux LiveCD and run fsck on that partition, my guess right now is you have to restore the superblock from backups.
