    No Option to Boot from Live CD?



    I downloaded and burned the Debian Stable to CD-R yesterday. I put it in the computer and the menu came up, but there doesn't appear to be any option to "try out" the distro without installing it to the hard drive.

    Am I missing something?

    It looks like you have downloaded installer CD instead of Live. From where you have downloaded .iso file? Could you post the Link here?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Ah ok. I think it was from the Debain website.

    Could you post the link here? Post the complete filename of downloaded file.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
