Source of Latest Debian Stable ISO

    Hello,

May I request for some help on what site can I download a live image (iso) of the latest stable debian release?

I tried to download from the site but when I was at the last stage, it offered me a loooonnngg list of releases to choose from. What would be the best thing to do please? I would appreciate if you can include the links so I can be sure I am in the right place. KDE is preffered GNOME is ok just the same.

    Thanks in advance! Cheers!

It's been quite some time since I last installed Debian, but I don't remember there being a liveCD. Perhaps there is one now, but I'm not sure.

The best way I ever found to install Debian was by using the netinstall method, using the businesscard ISO file to burn my installation disk.

It and other installation methods can be found here:

    Debian -- Getting Debian

    Netinstall images here:

Debian -- Network install from a minimal CD
