    Internet connection problem

    Hello,

in order to get used to linux environment, I installed Ubuntu 9.04 on Vmware. The problem is I can't connect to the internet even though it's good on Vista. I explored the forums, all says some settings in System -> Administration -> Network menu, but I couldn't even find such menu. There is only System -> Administration -> Network Tools which seems useless in that problem.

    Thanks in advance.

It's Okay now. The problem was I should have disabled-enabled the network interface after I changed wireless access point/router. That enables the interface to get assigned a new IP. I don't know why it doesn't handle automatically like host Vista, though.

    Thanks for interest.
