Debian "Small CD" install - no network...

    Hey all

Im trying to install Debian (5.03, i386) from the "small CD" ISO.
The problem ive got is that the network just will not operate, its driving me insane.

Ive tried two different NIC's, both of which are identified - there just seems to be no communication.
Using DHCP will not get an IP, setting one manually does not work either.
(other PC's on the same network work perfectly, its not a network issue)

I cant proceed with the install because apt has no net access.

I really want to try Debian but this is just a joke, im running Fedora on other PC's and have never had any of this rubbish during installation.

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers
    Ash

    Hmmm..."solved" it...
The graphical installer appears to be broken, using it - no network access.
Using non graphical everything works fine... ;p)
