I have a SATA-docking station which connects simply via USB.
On my main computer (running Debian Lenny(5.0.3)) I get the message "Can' t mount volume (Invalid mount option)" . In the docking station I have a 1 TB disk.
Using the same device / same disk on my EeePC (first generation) running Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) it works perfectly; the disk is mounted without problems and I can access it.
The reason why the SATA disk is in the docking station is that with it installed in my computer I couldn't even manage to install Debian....
I had three phyiscal disks in that computer and two screens connected; only after taking out two disks and disconnecting one screen I could install Debian.
For the screens, I managed to install the NVidida driver and finally use the Dual-Screen.

I installed both systems standard and never touched anything in their configuration.
Is there any way I can fix this without having to touch the mounting table manually on my Debian system ?

Any information I can provide more in order for somebody to help me ??

Thanks in advance
