    quick question



    hi all,

    I have recently set up a moodle installation on a debian box with a lamp setup.

    I have three partitions /, /boot and /var.

    For some reason the / partition seems to be filling up quite quickly, could anyone guess to why this is happening? Is there anything i can do to sort the problem out?

    Hi,

    type "man du" to learn about a program which can help you find the biggest offenders.

    One rather spurious way how space gets eaten up on Debian is the cache of the apt-get facility. As root, type "apt-get clean cache" and see if that gets you some space back.
