Why don't you download the Super Grub iso and write it to a cd. Do you have access to another computer or OS? I assume you do as you're able to communicate with us.

I do not see any upgrade command. Is there a DVD iso with more features or is everything small enough for just a CD? If not, I have only blank DVDs and not CDs, that shouldn't be a problem, right? I also checked this link: h t t p : / / w w w . supergrubdisk . o r g /index.php?pid=5 and it says "This is the old Super Grub Disk which actually works better than the new Super Grub Disk based on Grub2. Sorry for any troubles that you run into." Does this mean that this specific link leads to the download of the Super Grub Disk that I am NOT after? And, when I finally obtain the disc I am looking for, is it going to fix the issue for sure?
