    Building from Debian source & diff



    I'm trying to build the source & diff for Asterisk on Lenny -- specifically 1.4.21.2~dfsg-3

    I've done 'apt-get source asterisk', and it says it's applying the diff file. I can see the "debian" directory under the /asterisk-1.4.21.2~dfsg/, but when I compile the program the patches don't seem to be applied. Am I missing a big step?

    Ah - need to run the debian/rules file while under the main directory. Got it!
