[SOLVED] Flashplayer won't work...
I have installed Debian 5.0 on my computer and I am in the middle of trying to get everything to work. I am having trouble viewing any kind of flash on websites. I get a black box with a grey Play button.
What do I do to fix this?

Hi,
I also encountered the same issue when I first installed my Debian Lenny. However this is what I did. Maybe you can consider giving it a try. It worked for me. I hope it does for you too.
I opened youtube using "ice weasel" browser.
Then since I am on debian, I followed the instructions downloading the flash player using "apt-get".
Restarted and it was working already.
Hope it works!

Follow instructions given at Debian Wiki.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
