Suspend w/ USB Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

I have had suspend (S3) working on my machine for some time now with a PS/2 wireless keyboard and mouse set. I got a new USB wireless keyboard and mouse that works MUCH better, but now the computer wakes up about 10 seconds after suspending. Does anyone know what might cause this?

One more thing I have discovered about this problem: Suspend always works the first time after I restart. On subsequent suspending attempts, the computer wakes up after about 10-20 seconds. I compared the log files after the first suspend and the failed suspend, but was able to find nothing to distinguish them.

This was working fine when I was using a normal keyboard and mouse. Does anyone know why using a USB wireless keyboard/mouse might cause this problem?
