    Insert Command during boot ?

    Hello,
I have finally gotten Samba working! Turns out there was no domain set, even though I remember setting it during the install process... Anyway, all is working, and thanks to all for the help!!

Which brings me to yet another question... Now that I have a mount command that works, how do I insert this such that it is run during the boot process? I want to automount a few Samba shares. Is this a good idea? If not why not? If so, where do I edit to add the mount command?

As always, thanks fo0r the help!!

You have a couple of options. I would probably recommend just adding the shared you want to mount in /etc/fstab.

Configure a system to automount a Samba share with /etc/fstab

    More info:
    Samba - ArchWiki

Of course installation commands, adding daemons to run at boot, starting/stopping daemons, and such will be different for different distros, so adjust accordingly.
