    Hi,

    1. Why my Etch has no USB2 support?

The motherboard is a Intel D915GLVG, 2.8GHz Celleron.
    So it should be supported.
    But it does not work.

    It only works as USB1.
    Which is very slow.

    2. I have a USB external hard drive ntfs partitioned.
How can I read-write to it with my etch?

Is there some magic trick I can do to make these work?

    Thanks.

why don't you update to latest debian stable and see if that fixes your hardware problems?

when you plug in your USB device, check dmesg for information about the speed of the device

you need to install ntfs-3g driver, but i'm not sure its available in etch
