Welcome to the forums!
Check this thread for properly downloading distribution ISO files and burning them to disk as an image:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ins...ll-cd-dvd.html
The ISO files can be found here:

thanks for your help, i already downloaded the file from the same link bt3-final.iso size 728mb, description : CD Image,. when i extract i got two folders like boot (6.12mb) & bt3 (688mb). then i click on boot folder in backtrack3 then i saw iso linux folder in this folder i got three iso files like iso linux (11kB), isolinux.boot (2kB) & isolinux.cfg (2kB).
so can you guys let me know what size of iso file & what is the extension of that iso file. because i don't see any other iso file inside.
thanks

Don't extract the ISO file because the image burning process takes care of all that automatically. You probably need to read the ISO burning article posted above again because it explains how to burn ISO files to disk as an image and it doesn't direct you to extract the ISO file.

yes i successfully made a cd as iso image with bt3 bt3-final.iso and i can start computer from cd then after complitely boot with cd i saw a screen shows two icons on disktop like Home & System.
while working on comands when i give this command like
airmon-ng
i got this
wifi Atheros madwifi-ng
ath0 Atheros madwifi-ng VAP(parent wifi)
then i give this command
ifconfig ath0 down
when i give above command then i got this error like
