Netbook and Debian?
Hello,
Looking around I see that there are a number of Netbooks that will work under Debian. I am looking for one that will support touch screen, and Debian. I understand that the touch screen will not run under Debian, but I want a Netbook that will run Deb with as few issues as possible... Any suggestions?

I've got an original Asus EEE PC (the 704) which I run Easy Peasy on - it's based on Ubuntu, which is itself based on Debian. I know quite a few people who also have newer Asus EEE PC's and run some flavour of Ubuntu on them. I'd suggest that you check on the websites of netbook-centric distributions which Netbooks they fully support (and have the least problems) and just go from there.
From a hardware standpoint, I can tell you that there isn't much of a difference in netbooks, at least not if you're going for 10 inchers. Just get one with a good battery life - besides this, the Asus EEE line is good, as are Lenovo's Ideapads.Stumbling around the 'net:
