    Installing minimal Debian lenny

okay so i downloaded the latest netinstall from the debian website and I write it onto a usb stick. I want to install xfce. Im not sure what window manager i should install with it i still want great looks and speed.

While I'm in debian installer i have a software selection screen i get these options:
    ###Default###

    *Desktop Environment (Checked)
    *Web server (Not Checked)
    *Print server (Not Checked)
    *DNS server (Not Checked)
    *File server (Not Checked)
    *Mail server (Not Checked)
    *SQL database (Not Checked)
    *laptop (Checked)
    *Standard system (Checked)

    Questions:
Since i want to install Xfce should i uncheck desktop environment?
What is laptop and should i uncheck it or leave it checked?
Does standard system considered a normal install with the programs that a full cd comes with if thats the case i should have this unchecked right?

    Thanks for your time.

Yes, otherwise you'll get 1GB worth of graphical applications. GNOME, GIMP etc.
which you will have to uninstall later.
But be advised that you will get not even an X server if you uncheck.
So make sure you know how to add stuff with Aptitude/dselect later.
