Remote dies every so often
I have a Linux desktop setup. It is a fresh install - no downloaded packages etc.
We needed to gain remote access from it (From outside)
Now initially I setup the router to point to the Linux box's IP address, so when I typed in an external IP address into VNC viewer it when straight onto the Linux box.
This has now for some reason stopped working. So, I decided to use a remote connection into an SBS server onsite then open up VNC viewer - and use a local IP address to get into the Linux box.
This works perfectly fine. But every few days when I try login to it that way I get a connection refused error.
The only way I can fix this is going to site and logging onto the Linux box then log off and the remote works again.
Any ideas on how to fix these problems?
Running Debian, the latest version.
