Installation of Debian Sarge : at the end, nothing happens

    Hello,
I'm a newbie and wanted to install Debian. Erverything worked good, I was told that I did not need the CD anymore and that I could start normally my new installation. I started Debian on the GRUB menu and saw a lot of things on the screen, then nothing. The last rows are :

    Starting hotplug subsystem
    input
    input [failed]
    isapnp
    insapnp [success]
    net
    net [success]
    pci

I think I should be prompted to enter the admin password, and something like that... but after these rows, nothing happens.

Please help me I don't know what to do.

This looks like a hardware error. I'd try reinstalling the OS but first, try CTRL+ALT+F2 to see if you get anything.
