Unmet Dependencies Gephex
Hi
i am new to Ubuntu and am trying to install gephex but i am unable to do so as all the ways i have tried it comes up with the message unmet dependencies
This is what im getting in terminal at the moment :
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

The following packages have unmet dependencies.
gephex: Depends: aalib1 (>= 1.2)
Depends: libartsc0 (>= 1.3.2) but it is not installable
Depends: libqt3c102-mt (>= 3:3.3.4) but it is not installable

Depends: slang1 (> 1.4.9dbs-4) but it is not installable

What have you tried? There is no Ubuntu package for Gephex in the repositories; where did you find the package you're using?

After the failure of dpkg try doing apt-get -f install if the depends are in your sources they will be installed. Or use gdebi.
Personally I would look for a similar app; gephex hasn't been updated since 2007.
