    Switching to an Active Window

    Hi,

I am new to Linux. I want to write a java application which will switch between the active windows open on a Xandros system. I can achieve this through java by making system calls or by using JNI. Now i can get the list of active applications by using the ps command and then screening out the particualr app's i am looking for. But after getting the process id (PID's) and other details how do i switch to the particular app.

Any help in this regard will be appreciated:
