[SOLVED] make function
first I didn't have the make function in my lenny so I installed it from here:
packages.debian.org/lenny/i386/make/download
now I am trying to compile my kernel from this guide:
cyberciti.biz/tips/compiling-linux-kernel-26.html
and I'm stuck at stage 3, and whatever I write after the make command it gives me an output of:
No rule to make target of '.......'. Stop.
instead of "......" appears the word I'm writing after the make function.
Please someone help me fix the problem
Thanks in advance

Which directory are you in?
Debian GNU/Linux -- You know you want it.
