Building and Debugging the Kernel
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am sorry if my question was not clear.
What i want to know is i have a ubuntu which i got as a live CD running on my pc (which in not custom kernel) and i want to debug the kernel with respect to the driver i wanted to analyze.
1. In order to do this whether i need to build the custom kernel
2. If i write my own module how to build this module against custom kernel.
please let me know if you have any steps to do this
