how to see the command ouput heading

hey guys,

Plz can ny1 tell how to see the command output headings

for eg :
on executing the 'w' command u will get the following output:

$ w

USER TTY FROM LOGIN IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT<<<column headings

navdeep tty1 - 23:55 31:10 5:00 0.00s /bin/bash /usr/
navdeep pts/0 :0.0 00:00 0.00s 0.44s 0.00s w

here we know what each column stand for but this not the case with other commands.
plz tel how to do this(column heading for commands).
