which ssd driver?
while trying to install debian amd64 KDE, in the “Detect Disks” section, the process stops at:
“No disk drive was detected. If you know the name of the driver needed by your disk drive, you can select it from the list.
Driver needed for your disk drive:”
...and gives a long list of drivers. my hard drives are Crucial C300 128GB.
i have no idea which driver on the list to pick so i can continue with install.

What distro are you trying to install? What kernel version is that distro defaulting to?
I do know that those Crucial C300 drives like TRIM, which isn't support until 2.6.33.
