Changing from Thunderbird to Evolution
After using Linux for a few years I changed to Thunderbird and now want to go back to Evolution.
Question #1 How can I import my Inbox Folders to Evolution.
Question #2 Is there a way to Purge/Delete the Inbox Folders that are more than 30 days old. Is there a filter for this?
Thank You.

Are you running Gnome Desktop in Debian?
fromOne thing that Evolution is not is cross platform....if your OS can't run Gnome then it can't run Evolution.

Try this tutorial for Debian. For the purge, do you mean for Evolution or Thunderbird? I don't know about Thunderbird, but Evolution can use filters to do almost anything.

If you are looking to purge old messages from Thunderbird you can easily create a filter for that.
Open Thunderbird and click on Tools then Message Filters.
Click on Add to create a new filter.
In the drop down box that says Subject is an option to select the age of the email message in days. When you select that option the next drop box will give you a choice of less then, greater then or equal.
The last box is where you would enter 30 days.
Then you make the choice of what to do with the messages this filter finds that match your search criteria.
