Using Cygwin
I am having difficulty with this scenario. I want to test if a website i have created works in Linux. I am working off Windows XP at the moment but I downloaded Cygwin to emulate the Linux System and see would Internet Explorer work with my site. Im very new to Cygwin so any help on this would be appreciated. A step by step walk through would great.
To sum up :
I want to test IE on linux and see if my site works on it. I want to do this through Cygwin. Is this the right way to do it??
Massively appreciate it.

Why would viewing a website in linux not work? It's the job of a web browser to view pages, not the OS itself.
I don't think this will work the way you're expecting. Cygwin is a linux-like environment, but doesnt mean that you are running linux. If you want to test on linux, test on linux not Cygwin.
Why are you wanting to test with IE on linux? Why not test IE, then test firefox, then test Chrome, etc.?
