    Do I need?

If my video card is a nvidia, why do I need the following files: xorg:: S3 ViRGE display driver, Voodoo display driver, ark display driver, Intel i8xx, i9xx display driver, AMD/ATI Radeon display driver, AMD/ATI display driver wrapper.

Why, trying to remove them, it attempts to remove xorg-video-all and xorg itself??

Can't I get rid of these. Right now, its trying to install updates for the ati and radeon ones.

    Thx

Delete the meta-pkg 'xserver-xorg-video-all.' You can then delete any/all video drivers you don't want/need.
