    Lightbulb How can i enable my FingerPrint Reader on my Dell Vostro 3350

    hi all:
    i got a new dell vostro 3350
    and installed kubuntu 11.04
    all drivers and cards enabled automatically
    except fingerprint reader
    i searched on the internet for fingerprint software :
    i found "fprint project"
    but the reader which attached on my laptop is not supported by the software

    There is such a thing as unsupported hardware - fingerprint readers are quite specific, but first you need to provide some more information. Post the output of

    You need to search the web on that info and try to locate a driver. From what I've seen so far (not much) it looks like it may be unsupported.
