USB flash disk does not contain a filesystem or disklabel

    Hello,

I keep getting this error when mounting a flash disk formatted on windows with FAT or FAT32:

    Oct 22 16:04:03 nst100 usbmount[1426]: /dev/sdc does not contain a filesystem or disklabel

Nevertheless, the flash drive mounts fine, but the later operations on usbmount won't get executed because of that error.

How can I get usbmount to go past that error?

Oddly enough, if I plug the the usb drive in when I already have another one plugged in and fully recognized, the the error doesn't occur.

Looks like some kind of configuration problem. Any hints??

Try doing a disk check with fsck or use Windows.
