I have nagios 3.2.1 installed and it is working fine. However I would like to set up alert that if web site is down that nagios issues critical. That site is running on the server on certain port and port is 8080. For example if I want to monitor //mysite/cfs/login.htm how would i set up commands and services file. I tried but check_http always says connection refused but site is actually up and running. this site is secure https

Anyone has an idea
