Hi all,

I recently purchased an I pod shuffle model A1373 (2GB) and it appears that the format on these models have changed. The 4th generation model mentioned above is not receiving any of my mp3's via rhytmbox or gtkpod. I have all of the current lib's (libgpod 4 etc.). It is recognized and mounted, though my shuffle plays a message when I press play, "Please visit itunes to sync your device.." or something along those lines anytime I place an mp3 on it. I am dragging and dropping. Just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to ensure my mp3's will play. Not a huge itunes fan, as i'm sure a great many out there aren't. Thanks for any help!
