USB Keyboard & Mouse not working following kernel update
Hello,
I installed a new kernel: linux-image-2.6.39-bpo.2-686-pae on my linux machine.
Following the installation, two things changed:
- it prompted me to select my screen resolution when it booted which is not really a problem but didn't do it before. The USB keyboard works to select the screen resolution.
- when it finishes loading the USB keyboard and mouse do not work. I tried unplugging them and replugging them into different ports but nothing works.
I got a portable version of linux on a usb stick and booted from that. Everything works fine with this but I can't access the applications that are on my normal hard-drive.
Could someone tell me what I can do to get the keyboard and mouse to work or to return to the version of the kernel that works?
Thanks,
Christian
