Loosing wireless connection
Hello all
I have a problem with the wireless link on my Linux pc.
From time to time it loose the connection to the wireless network.
It does not reconect unless I do a reboot.
The wireless network is a 802.11n with WPA2 PSK security.
The SSID is not broadcasted.
I found some interesting messages in the syslog:
1. Dec 23 10:29:09 administrator-desktop kernel: phy mode> Error! The chip does not support 5G band 8!
2. Dec 23 10:29:09 administrator-desktop kernel: RTMPSetPhyMode: channel is out of range, use first channel=1
3. Dec 23 10:33:55 administrator-desktop kernel: ERROR!!! RF read R7=0xF84E34B4 fail, i[100], k[0]
4. Dec 23 10:33:55 administrator-desktop kernel: Retry count exhausted or device removed!!!
5. Dec 23 10:33:56 administrator-desktop wpa_supplicant[1921]: Failed to disable WPA in the driver.
I'm using a Ralink based USB Wifi interface.
If someone can help me I would be very thankful
Best regards
Per-Jarle
