    Issue Stopping X server

    i been trying to stop X server using this command

    # /etc/init.d/gdm stop

    Error
    #bash: /etc/init.d/gdm:No such file or directory

    im trying to stop x to install nvidia drivers

    got it working by using /etc/init.d/gdm3 stop
