    Access control lists - setfacl


    Heloo,

    Please help me, i am total begginer in using Linux debian , and i wont to set command setfacl (sudo set facl -m g:linux:--x /home/... but a got mesage that command not found? and when a use help - "man setfacl" a got message no manual entru for setfacl...?

    any help ?

    Do you have the acl package installed?

    Run
    Code:
    sudo apt-get install acl
    and enter your password. It will either install acl or confim that it is up to date.
    What do we want?

    When do we want 'em?
    Doesn't really matter does it!?

    Thanks you loot for help me, i true comand sudo apt-get install acl and sudo apt-get update and some indeks files failed to download..

    In my practices we are install something more, but i don't now what else...
    I will have exam next weak and i I try to exercise this ..

    Sorry and my english is not soo good .

    I still can not get the man page for setfacl man..

    First i open fstab (sudo gedit /etc/fstab and i add "acl" in some field, and save, and use command sudo mount -o remount /dev/sda1, and i try sudo setfacl -m g:/linux:--x /home...
