    Tera-Term/Hyper-Terminal

    Hi all,

I'm looking for preferably Tera-Term to allow me to connect into Cisco Routers,Firewalls and Switch's. Tera-Term was always the better program over Windows Hyper-terminal.

Has anyone found a suitable replacement that could run on Mint Debian? I don't use the Com port, but a USB to Com adapter so I'm pretty sure the hardware would be picked up.

Just thought I would post up here as after 2 days of hunting the net and Cisco forums I'm no further forward.

    Many thanks,
    Maccy.

You shouldn't need to install any additional software. I found this for you:
    terminal - How do I connect to TTY/COM (/dev/ttyUSB0)? - Ask Ubuntu
