    Resource Conflict at boot time

I have Debian Squeeze 6.0.5 and i notice as far back as i can remember that during the boot sequence this error pops up

    ACPI: I/0 Resource 0000:00:1f.3[0xf000-0xf01f] conflicts with ACPI Region SMBI[0xf000 - 0xf00f]
How can i find out what that statement means?

From what I can find out this indicates that the system BIOS has made hardware sensors (like processor temp, fan speed, etc.) unavailable to the linux kernel. A BIOS upgrade might help, and one respondent said the problem went away when he upgraded to Wheezy. If you can manage to get rid of this error you might be interested in a package called "lm_sensor".
