    Raspberry Pi Debian install

I ordered my Raspberry Pi today!! Has anyone had luck installing Debian on it? If so what release did you install and did you have any issues? I have an old WD Live TV that is dead and want to build my Pi case out of that. Did you make a case or is it just laying on the desk?

It's micro usb so my galaxy s2 phone charger works. As for the awesome card, my son wanted to look through all my old cards and he found himself some teenage mutant ninja turtles cards and those Yo MTV raps cards. I didn't get to keep my ninja turtle cards.

From what I have heard you cannot power it by the USB port. (but I could be wrong)
